Its certainly different, but i certainly like it. Its not like the last album, and different from much of the other stuff, but for me still has the Oasis feel
There will be plenty of knockers of the album, thats a given, but this is good stuff.
Personal favourites at the moment are Turn Up the Sun and Part of the Queue.
Also i got the special DVD version, still got that to watch mind.
Thoughts? Like it? Hate it?

Southampton Rose Bowl, July 6th. Expect they'll show up in a few weeks, plenty of time left really.
And Lyla is a bit of a rip of Street Fighting Man by the Stones. But then, every song they've ever written can be linked back to some song or another, it's no biggie.
I say it is third their best whilst Heathern Chemistry was naff.

Mine haven't either, then again I'm seeing them July 10th. What date/venue are you going to?

i thought it was a rip off of 'Blockbuster' by The Sweet.

You're obviously a guitar expert, then.
EDIT: And for the record, I don't think it's a bad album at all, their new ones tend to grow on me and it didn't really hit me at first, but there's some excellent stuff on there, easily the equal of the best stuff from the last two. The Meaning of Soul is very good and a bit of a departure, Let There Be Love is very catchy and Lyla is a good singalong a la Hindu Times.
I'd give it about a 7/10 at the moment, but then I am biased.

So, same old Oasis then?
They are very good at stretching things out...they've managed to stretch one album over their entire career.
