Anyway, back to Casualty. I hate it now that its all about the doctors love lives and all that jazz. The acting in it is worse that the reconstructions in "999 emergency" or whatever it was called. Bring back the old style random accidents I say.

It was the way that the deaths were not just predictable, but so much more ridiculous than you expected that made it so funny.

What happens: He falls off, becomes impaled through the chest on a rusty spike, which also happens to be holding his face under the water of the river under the bridge and he begins to drown. Then a dog craps on his face, his girlfriend dumps him and his Mum is so distraught she kills herself right in front of him. Then nuclear apocalypse ensues, natch.

Ahh Casualty. I used to watch it every Saturday night. It coincided so well with Big Break, Gladiators and The Generation Game. Then Saturday night TV went all crappy on us with about three or four hundred different lottery programmes and various other rubbish that usually included Ant and Dec.
