to of the best stealth games going together in a deadly combat to see which one is the best. they both have the same good graphics and the same good plot but splinter cell lets you do loads of cool acrobatics while metal gear doesnt really. i dont really know which one to buy. help me deside.

Stealth simply doesn't do it for me, it's too tame. If I had to choose between the two, then I would go for MGS. It always has a better story and has (a bit) more action in it.

Solid Snake's got the arrogance of a Yoo player. Fisher is a machine. A well oiled, sexy, old machine. That can snap your neck from 30 yards. True story.
I prefer MGS due to the completely OTT storylines.
