...this seems like a pretty insane question, but I have over 5 million quid and I want to get rid of most of it, quickly, so how can I do it? I haven't unlocked Las Venturas yet, so the Casinos are out of the question.

Go to Conference and get on the BMX just outside the 24/7 there. Complete the missions, net $10k and the 24/7 as one of your own businesses, which will bring in $2k per day. Yeyu!
Slightly off topic, but I found this rucksack on top of a really tall building in Los Santos (jetted up there and jumped out on top) and I have no idea what it does. It appears as one of my items to carry, and a little bar appears in the corner of the screen next to the map, but it hasn't done a THING yet.

Go to Conference and get on the BMX just outside the 24/7 there. Complete the missions, net $10k and the 24/7 as one of your own businesses, which will bring in $2k per day. Yeyu!

I'm just a casual gamer and to be honest, it just makes the game much easier. I get too stressed out now if I have to keep replaying certain missions all the time. And that goes for all games.

Go to Roboi's Mart in Commerce and do the courier missions, once completed you'll have the Mart as an asset and be able to collect $2000 every day.
Completing the first lot of missions gives you oportunities to make money i.e. Lowrider challanges.

Because it makes certain elements of the game boring. I don't need to do any dirty work to afford houses, and the robbery missions are pretty pointless, it's not as though I need the money.

look for drug dealers. Usually dressed in black coats, kill them to get their cash, around $2000
