Mm, speaking as someone who had a fight with a Staffy Pit Bull when it was mauling a cat (some truly delightful chavs having thrown the cat to the dog), I'm with you on this one; ensure the person who did the killing receives, at the very least, some form of mental anguish.

Yep thats right, Trish animals but she lives with this person, if Trish pressed charges she would certainly lose her animals due to the injuries.

I presume that it's an adult that's done this in that case, being that any charges would be leveled against them, and them in turn being prevented from keeping animals. Which I hope are in better conditions than ones allowing them to be kicked to death without the perpetrator being punished.
Sorry, but no animal deserves to endure such cruel behaviour.
