Newspapers such as tabloids were never particularly good reads and I assume most bought them for the 'Page 3' girls but even the Suns' moral standards are declining faster than an Albino in a Volcano.
Apparently seeing a former world icon (for all the wrong reason) in his undies constitutes front page news. Oh yes, gripping stuff
The Sun are probably the reporters that thought up the concept of rummaging through celebritys' dustbins to try and find stories. 'OMG - Abi Titmuss eats a Chicken pie - isn't she a veggie ?!' - dun-dun-da, stick it on the front page
And now ITV seems to have taken over Channel 4's role as lord of the smut and programmes not deemed good enough for any other channel.
C4 has been redeemed recently due to Futurama and The Simpsons, whereas ITV has entered a sharp decline, presumably they needed to churn something out to suit their budget, and so along came 'I'm a Z-list celebrity'
I can't comment on the Radio but I assume that out there somewhere will be the Sun meets ITV frequency.
You've just tuned in to hear DJ Jobless smack his head with a wooden spoon for 6 hours straight
Ah. The age of cynacism is upon us. I blame Goatboy - he made me a cynacist. The thought of him as a crippled sadist hunched over the computer, venting his anger down the wires as he slowly develops a hunchback, whilst his hands latch onto the keyboard
So, there you go. Media is going, going ... gone ! Well, good (non BBC) terrestrial
I watched Baywatch expecting some serious drama about lifesaving, and all I got was soft porn and pyscho twins keeping Michael Knight in a cave whilst the tide came in.
I miss Feral David Hasselhoff & Log in The Creek
I dunno, I only stayed there for two weeks.
The television aspect of it was awful.
Print wasn't that bad though, they didn't seem to have as many 'celeb-rags' like the Sun
" all the drugs in the world......"
Except Gamezfreak. My sister lived in America for the past 6 years and said it was a joke, just how little factual news there was and how it was one big commercial mess.
She also noted that Americans rarely have news about other countries.
And Roj is completely right. Put that Z back.

He he.
They never started off on a particularly high level in the first place.
You wonder why so many people are so thick and then you take a look at what they read and it all becomes clear.
Now it's not quite that simple but news has become entertainment and some places find the entertainment aspect to be more important than the facts.
Even those watching Paxman are guilty of this.
