Well, fungi is the general name for the group, after that you have the common names for the things in the group.

"Mould"*****"Mushroom"

Which things belonged to which group would of course depend on which species they are part of.

They aren't really a form of mould, they are a fungi like "mould" but not in themselves "mould".

Judging by taste and texture, yes. About 3 months before they go in the packet in fact.

Now, a related question which has been floating around in the back of my head for a while, can Mushrooms go mouldy, given that they are, technically, a form of mould themselves?
