Heat Match:
Nunzio vs Akio
Winner: Nunzio (3:28)
So, the event starts, and there's no pyro whatsoever, just a straight cut to MnM's entrance. Kinda cack.
1. Tag Titles:
MnM (c) vs Hardcore Holly & Charlie Haas
My Prediction: MnM
Winners: MnM (8:06)
Match Rating: 8/10 - pretty good match, especially considering I thought it'd be awful. Some decent spots, namely from Haas, although I wasn't too keen on the predictable screwjob finish.
So, the Carlito match is about to start and then Sky go and have a sodding technical fault. Great.
2. Carlito vs The Big Show
My Prediction: The Big Show
Winner: Carlito (4:42)
Match Rating: 6/10 - Nothing special at all, really. Nice to see Morgan hit an F5, though. Oh, and damn you, Heavy Metal, convincing me to change my prediction.
3. Cruiserweight Title:
Paul London (c) vs Chavo Guerrero
My Prediction: Paul London
Winner: Paul London (10:41)
Match Rating: 8.5/10 - Some really nice spots here, but I wished it was a bit longer and had more high-flying action.
4. Booker T vs Kurt Angle
My Prediction: Kurt Angle
Winner: Booker T (14:01)
Match Rating: 8.5/10 - an entertaining, technical bout, but the ending seemed really out of nowhere o_O.
5. US Title:
Orlando Jordan vs Heidenreich
My Prediction: Heidenreich
Winner: Orlando Jordan (4:54)
Match Rating: 6/10 - Fairly crappy match, as expected, and it ended with a DDT of all moves. The girl constantly screaming outside the ring didn't help either >_<
6. Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio
My Prediction: Eddie Guerrero
Winner: Rey Mysterio via DQ (18:31)
Match Rating: 8.5/10 - Not as good as the Halloween Havoc 1997 match that they promised to top, but good nonetheless.
7. WWE Title:
John Cena (c) vs JBL
My Prediction: John Cena
Winner: John Cena (22:44)
Match Rating: 9/10 - Surprisingly match of the night. I didn't expect much, but it surprised me. A bunch of great spots, and both men were bloodied insanely. Shame it had such a poor ending though. Cena should've thrown JBL through the glass and THEN had him say "I Quit".
Not a great PPV, as has become natural with WWE.

It wasn't that good.

She seems to make that mistake quite often :-D
Was the best one in ages, would have rather had the I Quit Match at Wrestlemania

unbelievable.
i thought booker t/angle was pretty poor.
then again, i don't like booker t in any way.
> Tell that to Lita :-D
note the "break fall" part :)
she went and got all muddled and thought it said "stack into the floor, abnormally-large-jaw-first"
Which Judgment Day match was your favorite?

Mysterio vs. Guerrero 12.97 %
Jordan vs. Heidenreich 2.56 %
Booker T vs. Angle 4.24 %

Carlito vs. Big Show 3.24 %
MNM vs. Holly & Haas 4.10 %

he caught chavo with what was essentially a clothesline. chavo's role was really just to break the fall a little and make sure london lost a little velocity and landed on his beck instead of at an angle. i think the move was more for "wow" factor than impact.
it was a big bump for sure, but it's safer to flip yourself and break fall than it is to land on someone else.
My Prediction: MnM
Winners: MnM (8:06)
Match Rating: 6/10 - alright i suppose, i like the was Haas goes mental sometimes, that just makes me laugh!
Carlito vs The Big Show
My Prediction: The Big Show
Winner: Carlito (4:42)
Match Rating: 6/10 - Heh, i thought Big Show would win too. Was surprised to see the F-5.
3. Cruiserweight Title:
Paul London (c) vs Chavo Guerrero
My Prediction: Paul London
Winner: Paul London (10:41)
Match Rating: 8.5/10 - I thought this was one of the better matches, a little mishap by London when jumping off the top rope to the floor outside the ring doing a flip in the air and not actually hitting Chavo (at least not enough to hurt him). Looked like it hurt London more than the Chav man.
4. Booker T vs Kurt Angle
My Prediction: Kurt Angle
Winner: Booker T (14:01)
Match Rating: 8.5/10 - I thought this was alright, didnt expect Booker to pick up the win although you knew that the handcuffs would come into play after the match. As soon as they found the handcuffs in the parcel it was fairly predictable.
5. US Title:
Orlando Jordan vs Heidenreich
My Prediction: Heidenreich
Winner: Orlando Jordan (4:54)
Match Rating: 5/10 - I can't stand Orlando Jordan, so any match with him i find annoying. Would have liked to have seen Heidenreich pick up the win though.
6. Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio
My Prediction: Eddie Guerrero
Winner: Rey Mysterio via DQ (18:31)
Match Rating: 8.5/10 - Good match but a shame about the ending. It would have been nice to have a proper pinfall/submission ending after a good match like that. I wish Chav would keep his nose out :@
7. WWE Title:
John Cena (c) vs JBL
My Prediction: John Cena
Winner: John Cena (22:44)
Match Rating: 9/10 - This was my favourite Smackdown PPV Main Event in a long long time. Got a bit tired of JBL constantly trying to choke Cena out using wires although i liked the whole going through the TV part. I think it should have gone on a tad longer because i would have liked to see what else they would have come up with. It surprised me that in a No DQ match the cabinet did not get involved, but i'm not complaining. Considering that Cena took back the other title at the end of the event it looks like JBL won't be able to carry the old Championship around any more which is good because i found that annoying that he was carrying it around and he wasn't the champ
Overall i think this was a good PPV, mainly thanks to the Cruiserweight match, Eddie/Rey match and the WWE Championship match.
