Do I wear a tie?

I have a suit thing and a shirt, but do I wear a tie or will I get sweaty and look like a wet politician for no reason?

Also, do all you GCSE/A-Level finishers have proms soon? My little sister got hers tonight, she's been faffing for around 3 days 'getting ready'.

I went to an all girls school and the 6th form had a ball.

Yeah, I don't understand why - it's all quite American.

But it's sort of a pretty good way to say goodbye to everyone and be all "formal" and stuff. I mean, the only other time I'd swear a suit is a funeral so it makes a change.
