I used to get that when playing Quake deathmatch for long periods of time (i.e. 2+ hours) - it's just a circulation thing.
I'm pretty active here - defrosting the freezer with one hand, and juggling balls of flame with the other - so lack of movement can be ruled out.
Maybe your left hand just doesn't like your right hand anymore. 40% of marriages end in divorce.
