"I need info about memory cards"

I heard that memory cards can crash, so I need to know which memory card should I buy, now I heard that the official 4 MB memory card crashes, while the official 16 MB memory card doesn't, is that true ? Because if it's not, I'll buy the 4 MB memory card, and if it's true, I'll just have to buy the 16 MB memory card, unless there was a way to prevent crashing, so if there is a way to do that ,then please tell me, and also tell me if the 4 MB memory card really crashesor not.

Microsoft stated they were releasing a console with and without a hard drive.

Cooky, just buy a Memory Card 1019 and your troubles will be over.

Even Microsoft have stated that there won't be a Hardrive in their next console as they want it to be much smaller and will provide an Offical Memory Card that will hold enough blocks to keep you going until the console after that.

So, if anyone comes up to you in school and say 'Haha your Cube has a memory card and my Xbox has a Hardrive' just laugh in their faces.

Then that'd mean the gamecube will be the size of a normal Xbox, do you really want that?

When are those memory cards 1000-whatever coming out?

I\'ve got 5 blummin\' memory cards now, and there all pretty much full! grrr-argh, why doesn\'t the GameCube have a mini HD in it, would be sooo useful!

I cant see why certain games take up so damn much

Games like Fifa 2004 basically take up a whole basic maemory card so about 50 or more blocks. but other games like mario kart only take up 3 I think.

Ive got a 4MB and a 16MB and the crash rumour is false. They unofficial ones may crash, but the Nintendo ones dont. Some newer games take up most of the 4MB to save, the new NBA being one of them. I would get a 16MB one. If you divide memory by price you will find that the bigger one is a much better deal, and it’s unlikely that you will ever need another.

Depends on the games, though. They don't all require the same space on the card.

Get one of the giant Nintendo 1019 (I think) memory cards, as you'll never run out of space, and as they're Nintendo, they shouldn't crash. Ever.

Well I think 16 will be enough, I just got my GC , and I only bought 3 games.
