Does anyone know any good job sites. I've looked on fish4 but I'm done with that now and need more jobs.

What studies did you take (A-level + Uni)? £18K+ a year ain't bad for a start.

I suppose something like the Yellow Pages would contain a list of companies you could apply for, or perhaps a jobs section

I think the site is yellowpages.co.uk

I think Lycos (the search engine) also has a little job section somewhere on the site

Have done before.

I find 'I have an appreciation for the industry' usually covers that kind of crap.

I hate the questions that go 'Why did you choose to apply for this role?'

I'm so tempted to write the truth '..errr...cos I want some money'

But I don't

This should be a laugh though. :)

That's down to one of the basic rules of any HR department 'fix. The simpler the job, the more complex the application form should be.

If it was a good job for example, they'd just ask of a CV.

If you were applying to be a shelf-stacker, they'd probably want your complete employment, educational, health, dental and family records...
