If he starts snapping people's necks, whips out a Glock and gets a conductor right between the eyes, then I'll believe he's CIA. And that would make a good film.

Or maybe he's ex-CIA and has amnesia?

There'll be a blonde cigar-smoking agent somewhere, ticking boxes on his masterplan, saying (in a Swedish accent): "So far, so good. By Christmas we'll have a number one album in the classical charts for sure!"

Well it's certainly deliberate, though I'm guessing whoever traumatised and dumped him did the label-removing.

As others have said I don't want to think this is all an act on his part.
