Forza is quality online. Make sure you unlock some decent cars before you go online though :)

You responded fine mate, said it wasnt compatible.
A guy at work is wireless, got his bridge from PC world for about £25, we're heading down there in an hour to find it.
So *should* be online tonight, wearing a headset and feeling stupid.
Live games: Forza, Chaos Theory.
Nice

I'd say no. That one appears to hook up via USB, for console gaming you need one that connects via Ethernet, i.e. go straight into the back of the Xbox.

Yup :)

I'd say, initally, get a Bridge that's the same brand as your existing kit, that way you'll be familiar with any setup requirements if necessary.

The Belkin one I linked to is 'out of the box' compatible, and in actual fact, so is the Netgear WGE111 - which is also real small too.

I've got a wireless router & network set up already, broadband on my pc upstairs, laptop downstairs runs fine from it.
So I just need the bridger then?

Do you have a wireless modem/router? If so, just grab a Bridge like this http://www.dixons.co.uk/product.php?sku=819698.

That one works out of the box with consoles apparently. I bought one yesterday but have yet to use it. I did have a Netgear one but it was a pain to set up and the Ethernet port was fiddly and wouldn't work properly - I had to jam a pair of tweezers in there to force the cable to make contact :|

So, I have the above and I also have a Netgear DG834G modem/router http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=52244&_LOC=UK

If you do need to get a wireless modem/router too, I'd recommend getting an equivalent to that and avoiding Netgear. I used to swear by them, but the past few Netgear products I have used have been shoddy and overpriced.

I'd also recommend you go for 802.11G devices (like the above) as they can handle more data transmission than 802.11B, reducing risk of dropped transmissions, and are cheaper than the not-really-needed 108Mbps - SuperG - wireless devices out there.

Let me know if you want more help, I'd be happy to assist.
