Really? What the hell gives him that idea? The majority of the users of this site are under 25 and I don't think any one of us would say that the prequels are the better films. I seriously can't think of a single person I know that would agree. Maybe it's an American thing, or maybe Lucas is just making up crap to make himself feel better. Who knows?

I think I may be the only person on Earth who has never seen a single Star Wars movie.

I never really dug Jedi. Boba Fett dying like a chump, horrible dialogue from Hamill, Ford and Fisher, plus - ugh - Ewoks.

I have every faith that Episode III will be better than episodes I and VI, though it'll have to go some way to beating Empire and New Hope. Here's hoping.

Ive never really liked any of them that much. 4,5 and 6 are better than 1 and 2, but overall Star Wars is just average.

Going to see it on Thursday, shall post a review on TheShiznit.co.uk afterwards and the comments system should be working by then, so we can all moan about how much we hated/hated it over there, too!

Hahaha, "I get awful reviews because the critics liked the originals, meanies" is the whine behind the line.

Sorry George, the brain damaged are fanatical about the new ones.
Interesting, he even admits "the films that these people don't like". Deep down he knows he screwed the pooch over the new movies but can't admit it. But it's ok Toadneck, I'll still go watch Ep3 and buy the DVD vainly hoping the good bits are in deleted scenes.

5 > 4 > 6 > vasectomy > 2 > 1

Episode 3 will probably come between 'vasectomy' and '2'.

4,5,6 are better than 1,2. 3 better be worth my while on thurs. *holds ticket close to chest*
