I can't believe how fantastic this album is.
I was first introduced to The Mars Volta through Frances the Mute, thats a good album in itself, if a little, spaced.
So, I got DITC out of curiousity.
Took a few listens, but now it is vastly becoming my album of the week.

hahaha. Muse are excellent at what they do...except it isn't prog rock.

I'm still waiting to hear peoples opinion of it, then I may check it out. I almost bought it before but there's something I'm not too sure of about it.

Instrumental stuff is generally less confining.

No, I'm wrong it's just the one at the moment but a second is on the way. I believe it's the soundtrack to a film he made and rumour is the second CD (or DVD?) will feature the film.

Was going to but it's completely instrumental and I'm not sure how well it will sit. It could be fantastic but it could easily cross into self indulgent rubbish. I'll wait to hear what you think of it and then may give it a go.
