I lift up the reciever and it's just silent. The bill has been paid and everything.
Does anyone know what could be wrong and/or who I contact to fix it.

The engineer who fixed mine said that broadband can still work even if there's a problem on the line. He gave an explanation which, to be honest, made me go cross eyed, so I just nodded.

You read the board and started praying for it to, huh?
Sometimes, I wonder if I'd be a happier drone if I'd never even heard of Bill Hicks...
Anyway, I had the same problem last week; check the other sockets around the house. If the wiring to 'em is damaged, it'll knack the line to your house.

I don't know how to fix it, but if you work it out let me know.
