Well thy time has come, today I sit the first exam of my final year at school, and it is going to be an inevitable failure...English. Anyhoo wish me luck... and anyone else sitting exams soon?

that's a language question anyway, not literature.

lit questions are more like "discuss the effectiveness of the poetic techniques used by <..>"

erm, you get your information from the leaflet?

AFAIK those questions are to test your ability to "select and extract appropriate information". ie. are extremely easy.

You know, things that you weren't taught in the lessons. Then again, maybe I was asleep or something.

"Describe three ways in which TV is bad for you"
-taken from a question about a leaflet on TV Turnoff week

I refuse to answer a question which is saying TV is bad. It's trying to force you against television.

English is one of my best subjects, but I despise the exams. They ask you the oddest questions.

I have A-level English Lit on the 24th OMG!
