I think the fact that they're described as "Nandos chicken restaurants" sorta gives away what they sell. I've been in a similar situation in Amsterdam. We went out to an "El Rancho" steak house. The vegetarian in out group was amazed all they did was steaks. We were muntered mind... :D

True, but Nando's is hardly the same as KFC in my eyes.

Doesn't really work like that with my friends, not a lot of them have been to Nando's before, although a large group of us went recently - only one anywhere near us. We get there and find out several of em don't eat chicken :P

But, you wouldn't go to KFC if you wanted a beefburger....

It's a shame that all they actually do is chicken... nice chicken, but they should start serving more as it's not the easiest place to go to with some mates - not everyone eats chicken :[

The first ever Nando's is about 5 minutes walk from me, and I went there when it first opened.

Actually, I have a bottle of the Medium sauce downstairs... I wonder if I have any chicken....

Do you reckon they'd serve me if I just went in and asked for a drink? Could I stay there all afternoon and just drink constantly?

I was gonna go the other night when I was up with my sister at her uni.
But we made spaghetti bolognese at about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and some stale bread / chicken burger sandwiches around midnight instead.

"Stuuuuudent!"
They mocked and jeered us so.

I love hot stuff.

But is Chicken in Pitta (Lemon and Herb) every time for me at Nando's.

Mmmm.

Have you tried the Peri Peri sauce?
