When is it? I can't wait for us to beat them.

Did you know that the USA actually beat us in the world cup finals?

Anyway, discuss.

On the official DC site it says 6 games played, 1 goal scored and 3 assists. Not too shabby for a 15 year old.

He'll dance through the England team and unleash a thunderbolt that goes in off the crossbar just like his uncle used to do :-D

Funny that, cause I just saw a programme about him on SS2. He looks like a really good player, hopefully he'll realise how crap the US are compared the Europe and move over here.

But even though he's pretty good, do you know how many goals he scored for DC United this season? 5 goals...

No, wait, here it is:

Now this is a story all about Crew
And the time Buddle scored thrice against Yoo,
Though he gained a yellow card along the way
It made no difference to this beautiful day.

In New Rochelle he was born and raised
(That’s in New York for all of you gays),
He joined the Crew at the age of twen-ty
And he scored three goals; p!ss easy.
Then a couple of guys, they took a shine to him
And started making a film on their PCs
He got in the box and the Yoo got scared
They said, ‘He moves like he’s walking on nothing but air!’

He scored first from a corner and then a free kick
The post was then shattered
And 2-0 it did stick
I already knew that this guy’s talent was rare
But then he scored a third and I raised my arms in the air!

He fell down in the box with a few minutes to spare
And this gave the Yoo a terrible scare
But 4-0 to Crew it would not be
Instead came the dance that is legendary.

Official Ashman rating:
A* effort
D summing up Buddle's quality

It has, I just don't know why. You must have brainwashed me. I even edited the Fresh Prince rap to make it more Buddlicious, I'd dig it up but I can't be bothered.

I wasn't aware you already had one over on us to have another :-P

Maybe we'll unleash Freddy Adu upon you, show you what a proper wonderkid is like, none of this Rooney nonsense and we'll play with the spirit of 1950 :-D

Unfortunately, which the FA and other footballing associations seem unable to realise, is that nobody cares in America (apart from the ladies anyway) and as much as they try to gain the millions to be made from us Yankee Doodles we will never adopt Football as our national sport. It's baseball season, that's what we're concentrating on now. Of course if we win or draw i will laugh and mock but, as the result should be, we lose then i will carry on supporting my NY Yankees in the MLB :-D

Oh and added time multi-ball is a much better idea than penalties

Actually, given that we're sending the England reserves anyway, it'd be good if we sent the England Championship XI or something.

It'd be a bit more interesting at least, sort of like playing off a handicap.

Mind you, I think the yanks probably have a decent chance against a weak England. We often suck even trying our best.

What are the odds Heskey gets back in? Or Calamity James?

I'm surprised Utd aren't sending a stronger contingent though, they're desperate to break the American market.

The question is, assuming Southampton go down, where will Crouch end up next year?
Surely he's too good to play 'championship'. Everton, maybe?

I laughed out loud first time I saw that. Was bored by the second time, though.

They'll probably do "MULTI-BALL!!!111" if we draw.

And during Half Time they'll 'entertain' us by driving Monster Trucks all over the pitch.

Greeaaat....
