Its dying slowly and stinks so I'll have to kill it!! But any good ideas??

Doesn't sound like a chicken I'd eat. Just get a vet to put the poor thing out of it's misery.

Or get two bricks and cut the vet bills out.

Or maybe a spade or a clever??

You live on a farm, I assume?

Can't chicken's survive for like a minute without their heads? Hence "running round like a headless chicken"? Might want to bear that in mind if you decide to lop its head off.
