who is the best snooker player in the world

I don't know, it triggered a bit of a resurgence after he had it replaced, perhaps because it made the game a bit more fresh and introduced a new challenge.

Frankly, all that time playing with a £40 Argos cue, someone needed to snap it!


I imagine the main problem would be that you'd lose the taste for practice.
It's one thing training 7 hours a day to get to the top, it's another training 7 hours a day to stay at the top, when you've been there for a year already.


Maybe you should sit Hendry down and have a talk with him Chris, I expect you could get him on the straight and narrow again, having been his role model for all these years...

He's lost some of his motivation and hunger for the game. He's won seven World Titles, he's got nothing left to prove. I'm surprised he hasn't jacked it in already.

Maybe the whole incident of his cue being snapped put him off a bit.

Like Chr1s said, in his prime I don't think anyone could beat Hendry but ever since he got married he's never been the same, probably too distracted ;)

Aside from me, the best player at the moment is probably Ronnie O'Sullivan. I'd imagine Stephen Hendry would have been able to take him when he was in his prime a decade ago, but his game isn't quite what it used to be.

If Ronnie does decide to take some time off, then the best player spot is wide open. The names John Higgins, Mark Williams, Ken Doherty and Paul Hunter spring to mind.

If it's a choice between Stephen Hendry and Chris i go with Chris, i can't stand Hendry, he's an arrogant little ____.
