Frankly, all that time playing with a £40 Argos cue, someone needed to snap it!
I imagine the main problem would be that you'd lose the taste for practice.
It's one thing training 7 hours a day to get to the top, it's another training 7 hours a day to stay at the top, when you've been there for a year already.
Maybe you should sit Hendry down and have a talk with him Chris, I expect you could get him on the straight and narrow again, having been his role model for all these years...
Maybe the whole incident of his cue being snapped put him off a bit.
If Ronnie does decide to take some time off, then the best player spot is wide open. The names John Higgins, Mark Williams, Ken Doherty and Paul Hunter spring to mind.
