what do you think of manchester uniteds season so far?

I think every club would've went for Rooney after the way he played in Euro 2004, Fergie got him because he got there first.

Name me a player fergie has signed which was worth while?

Smith was a great signing for the first part of the season when Rooney was injured. Without him there the first part of the season would have been a MEGA disaster.

Imagine United's season had he not signed Rooney (who he's followed since he was 14)...

Saha and Smith were a big mistake as someone said below.

Forlan is only really scoring goals in Spain becasue its similar to the environment he had in Argentina. He probably would have had another average season had he stayed in England.

I mean, they didn't know they'd be facing a bit of an injury crisis.

Selling Diego was a big mistake, he's doing so well in his new club. Scored 20 (i think), thats more than Rooney and Nistelrooy put together this season.

Wasn't Rooney injured for a large part of the season?

Without Rooney Man Utd would've had an awful season.
