Watched it for the third time last night, whiloe boozed up.
If you haven't already seen it, watch it. An utterly brilliant distilation of Hubert Selbys novel of drug addiction in it's many guises.

I think it's a great film. Very stylised, and reinforces the fact I'd never take drugs.

It's not enjoyable in any way shape or form. One of those movies you have to atch though. A lot of people think Aronofskys direction is distracting. It's not. It sums up being off your head perfectly.

I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I get the feeling it'll be like Passion of the Christ... I'll be left asking myself if I actually enjoyed/was entertained by the last couple of hours.

Saw this in a cinema in Putney by myself, no mates wanted to see it.
About 15 people left by halfway, another few towards the end.
I stumbled out and stood in the car park smoking for 10mins before I drove home.
