Now, only about 15 people have died from it and 60 something have been diagnosed with it, but the city has a fair few million people.
So, do I take the chance?
Well, yes, it seems I do, because I don't want to waste the £150 for the flight and I've had jabs.
Wise? Hmm....
Having lived in the Pacific Rim for a good majority of my youth, I know that when there's any kind of outbreak it's to be taken seriously, because the standard living conditions aren't as um..sanitary?
My advice..don't drink the water maaaan!
There were many cholera and ecoli scares around the CNMI..probably still are. It's the stuff you don't really hear of until it wipes out a people. And the fact that there's that ughh.. unbearable heat. I just don't think I could live there again because of it.
I always thought it was the heat that made the disease spread more rapidly..? It just always seems like there's more disease where it's hot as hell. Hmm.
In my research, I found this "When To Go" info quite entertaining about Delhi.. http://www.lonelyplanet.com/destinations/indian_subcontinent/delhi/facts.htm#togo
Therefore, I'd say umm..yeah, it's wise to be traveling now and not in the Summer.. :P Safe journey, pb.

Damn. That's my plans out the window...
I flew to New York in the height of the terrorist scare on New Years' day. There's no point not doing things because something could happen ... at the end of the day you could be killed crossing a road but that's not going to stop you
You should be fine if you've had the jab. Just use your common sense and don't go visiting any slums or hospitals
Have a good trip
