Just got back from watching this, it was enjoyable but a little confused at time. I've heard that a lot of the character development and story was cut out to keep the running time down, after seeing it this becomes glaringly obvious. You never really get to know any of the characters or back story. Orlando Bloom is one minute a blacksmith having trouble using a sword, the next minute he's commanding an army.

Still, ignoring the plot holes the battle scene are really impressive and everything has the same kind of visual flair that you'd associate with a Ridley Scott film. The film's not up to Gladiator standard, but definetly worth watching as long as you're not looking for deep characters and a complex story.

Oh and Bloom wasn't completly rubbish, certainly better than 95% of his performances anyway.

Bloom's the only thing that makes me think twice about watching the film. He was good as Legolas mainly because he was supposed to be a big gay elf with girl hair, but any other role I've seen him has made me want to punch him in his annoying face.

Nah, she hates Bloom = why I like her so.

Apparantly it was alright.

Pretty average, Bloom is pretty wooden as usual and it's very long without achieving anything. Shiznit review coming soon.

Did it ever occur to you the only reason she's probably watching it is because Orlando Bloom is in it?
