It's awful. Truly awful. At least Troy had some good I-kick-you-hard-now type fights. The only good thing with Leper Norton stumbling around trying to give ponce-beats to Brendan Gleeson.

Is it a requirement that Gleeson be in every single epic ever?

There was plenty of over the top violence. They just seemed to cut out half the storyline to keep the running time down, which really killed off any kind of character development and reason to care for the characters.

I have heard it is sanitised beyond belief and crap as a result.

I thought it was quite poo.

Oh, and who was the princess/queen girl? She's won the award for fit girl of the day, apart from when she had short hair, she reminded me of Mel C for some reason then.

it was bloody crap. seen it last night, not worth of time. story was a crusade in 1200 to protect jerusalem (based on true story). i cant be bother to tell you how the story was.

Bloom, much like Kiera Knightley, is vastly overrated.

It was enjoyable, though it had problems mainly down to large gaps and holes in the story.

Well, Gladiator wasn't I]that[/I] complex.

But it ruled, and thats all that matters.
