Basically, the teachers at our school decided it would be a good idea to have an election for everyone in the school to participate in (most too young to vote)

We had the Greens, Lib Dems, Scum (ahem. 'Labour'), Tories and Commies. The Communists were winning in a landslide victory

However, onto the real election.

I see this time it's a triple vote system, a vote for MP, Government and also Local MP. If I was old enough to vote I'd vote for a Green representative for the local MP as they'd impose their good policies on the environment in the local area, their policies are good - just not suited for government. I'd elect a Lib Dem as an MP because most of their policies are good, just not the Euro policy. Finally, I'd vote a Conservative government

The best party would use the Greens' eco-policy, Lib Dems free-schooling, Labours' tax reduction and the Tories NHS spending. Alas no party exists

In other news, vote Lard for Notable, the smarter way to spend your vote.

Thanks for reading/scim-reading so you can get to the mindless chit-chat at the end

So that would what, an increase in National Insurance Tax, then?

So, what, taking money out of the NHS and putting it into private hospitals?

Good plan, mate, can't wait until you have your own political party! Increase taxes and decrease spending! It's a surefire winner! I wonder why no one's tried it before!

2 things - it's rubbish that only teachers are allowed parties in your school. For us, the 6th formers made the parties (the greens won, followed by the Value for Money party and then a long way behind the Northern Ireland Womens' Coalition)

- in the General election you only get one vote - for you local candidate. Whichever party gets the most MPs elected to parliament becomes the new government.

I predict that would be a rather difficult combination.
