But yeah, I usually say whatever, and sometimes it's great, other times it goes a bit crap. Meh.

Speaking personally (and as a mis-sent txt to Goaty can confirm...) I've never had much of a problem expressing myself emotionally. Sometimes, to my own detriment; there's something to be said for the male stereotype of keeping it to oneself at times.

On the other hand, I've always found it a big help to say exactly how I feel. Because then, my friends can make it very clear to me if I'm being a tool.
