I know your all expecting it to be crap...and, well, it's okay. I've never seen the first one so I can say whether it has improved or not but it was pretty decent, the action scenes were really good but the storyline is average and similar storylines have been done before which doesn't make it very original.

Ice Cube is a good actor, a bit corny at times but generally okay. Im not going to go on about it too much so im just going to say that it deserves a watch and i'd give it about 8/10.

So they replaced a (slightly) interesting lead character, for a clichéd wise-cracking hard-man?
But lots of stuff blows up, so that makes it all better.

Your probably best not watching it tbh because it's more of a "Come down to my 'hood' where we have guns and hos etc etc".

And Ice Cube calls this man a 'college boy' too many times and it ends up getting annoying. But the action scenes are good.
