And there was nothing wrong with Urs Maier's decision. Get over it.

But it was the ref's fault that Portugal beat us, it was, it was, it was. But it was Gerrard's fault that France beat us.

Stop it! *cries*
You didn't score more goals than Portugal in normal time, and you couldn't beat them on penalties.
It was a foul. Maybe a weak foul, but a foul all the same. Maier would have given exactly the same decision had the foul happened at the other end... or if it were two completely different teams contesting in a match.
England played crap football, but played to win, and that they did. They were the better (albeit duller) side, scored goals exactly when needed and should've gone through.
Whatever you say about the World Cup game against Brazil, and the Euro 2004 injury time loss against France, they were fair and square. The Portugal game, however, England lost because a goal was disallowed for no reason whatsoever.
And there was nothing wrong with Urs Maier's decision.

There was!
...and I can't think of anything else to add to that '_'

He could also have been talking about the dissolowed goal in the last minute and that would be being "cheated out be a c*nting referee".
