Plus whats to say he would have ended up there again in that exact spot? You do a mad thing like that as a kid and it's bound to have some sort of effect on how you're treated, your life will never work out the same as if you didn't.
It's called the butterfly effect because a butterfly can cause something massive to happen through a series of chain reactions, what he did was slightly more influential than a butterfly!
Is that wrong?
Ashton just keeps acting like an idiot. You're in a different world now because you changed time Ashton, people won't know you 'cos you never made friends with them.
The scene where he smashes his hands on the spikes was pathetic. How would they have just appeared in front of that guy? Surely they would have been there all the time since the accident?
If you just want a film to sit in front of while you dribble and foam at the mouth then this film is great. However if you want to try and actually make sense of the storyline, don't bother! Even the most basic of rules about changing time are ignored and Ashton acts like a braindead idiot most of the film, he played it well but the character was so thick.
"Oh for Gods sake, he's doing it again. They don't know you, you absolute retard, you've just changed time and everything that's happened in the world."
