Watching this right now on Sky Movies, i've seen it before but kinda forgot what happens but I know last time I watched it I thought it was good.

Have any of you seen it? What are your impressions?

It's decent, but I have to say I probably enjoyed Independence Day better, despite its corny yay America stance (which Mars Attacks! was lampooning)

I've got most of Burton's films (except that insult to cinema called Planet of the Apes) and Mars Attacks! sits proudly amongst them.

It's a fun film. Not amazing, not crap. Just fun.

Did anyone find that woman/alien creepy? Mainly because of the way she walks.

i enjoyed it. it has a style and presentation that are based firmly in kitcsh (sp?) and burton handles the whole "modernised" 50's thing really well, although all his films have a visual aspect that impress me to be fair.

it pokes fun at itself in some quite cool ways and the sequence with the aliens taking photos as they blow stuff up is quality.

I think it's superb.

I liked it - Jack Nicholson was cool and Michael J Fox gets killed. Plus Pierce Brosnan's head on a Chihuahua was hilarious.

It's been a while since I've seen it so those details may be mixed up.

Weird, weird movie, but great fun. What do you expect about a movie based on 1950's trading cards.

I remember it being as pleasurable as being beaten to death by an expertly wielded erect phallus.
