Hell no. If this is the best fans can offer, then it falls dismally short. The one redeeming feature are the effects - which were excellent for the budget. Get the Quicktime version, then watch it with the fast-forward on. Vader isn't half as menacing when he sounds like a chipmunk.

The special effects are jaw-dropping. The rest of it is a bit "Hercules: The Legendary Journey", crossed with the kind of filler scenes you only find in the cheapest of porn. Lucas has no excuse for making a bad film if a group of geeks can do good on a fraction of the budget.
