Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

I second this motion.. :P

I guess I'd just like everyone to have a turn. It should be done by month and when the month is full, we'll maybe create another thread for the next DOTD round of recommenders? Everyone should book their day as soon as it comes up..early bird gets the worm and all that.

Just a suggestion anyways. I love your thread Flocker!

Exactly!

I had to un-recommend Cicatriz Esp because it was 'too long'.
I originally chose it because I thought Cassandra Gemini might have been too much :' {

Incidentally, I have a live TMV gig with a 35 minute long version of Cicatriz. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Iron and Wine song is nice, but far too much saliva, kind of sickening.

Much prefer the Nick Drake one. Prefer the rythm, and he's got a great voice. Shall be keeping that.
