Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

Apologies Flock, but you did get the worst possible version.

Maximo Park - The Coast is Always Changing
Odd, sort of like The Cure meets The Beach Boys, likeable and i'll keep it for a little while but it's lacking anything great.

Yeah, alright, a bit tame and the solo is quite laughable.

For anyone who wants to hear it without downloading (and legally) http://www.myspace.com/audioslave

I am currently listening to the whole album. :D

Alter Ego - Rocker
Have been unable to get so far, will try again.

Audioslave - Your Time Has Come
Meh honestly, reminds me of TRHCP but without a strong enough voice, not wild enough or with a good enough rhythym.

Well...it's a start I suppose.

The original version is far better than the remixes you mentioned, though I'm not sure how freely available it is on t'net. In that sense it reminds me of 'Doomsnight' by Azzid Da Bass, in that a million different versions where everywhere (particualrly the Timo Maas mix), but it was completely impossible to get the (superior) un-remixed original anywhere...

I downloaded three versions of this Rocker song and it's all the same electronica stuff. I prefer the Blackstrobe Remix. Eric Prydz Mix sounded a bit harsh with all the whipping..and the Club Mix sounded just a tad too psyched out.

I'd slap it on for exercise music, running on the treadmill and the like. Though as with the exercise bit, I guess you've just gotta be in the mood.
