Asher tried to do this a while ago and it clearly rocked ass, i thought it was a good idea so i'm going to try and revive it.
I want a group of people who can recommend one track a day which hopefully people will listen to and pass judgement on. The idea is just to introduce people to new music.
I'm planning on starting Monday with one track for each day of the week and i'll revolve the days around the people involved.

Yeah the screaming is just like "..." but I do like when the guy's voice comes in with just one guitar and a quiet singing voice afterwards.

Guernica:

Sounds good. Could do with being a bit heavier in the chorus though. Kind of disapointing when it isn't.

Overall good though. Naff screaming though.

Meh.

Music is opinion :)

I just think that song totally rules. Six minutes of wonderful simplicity.

That Boy Who Blocked song that I mentioned is more Coldplay than emo, but yeah generally it isn't indie lol.

Brand New - Guernica

Used to quite like Brand New, gone off them quite a lot recently as the music is a bit too poppy for my taste. Can't say this song was ever one of my favourites really, vocal isn't overly clear which damages my opinion of it straight away to be honest. I'd say I prefer the slower songs they've made nowadays, The No Seatbelt Song, Play Crack the Sky, Tautou and Soco Amaretto Lime come to mind. Just because my taste has changed I'm not going to deny that the music definately had its moments for me, but I'm not going to be preaching to the masses about them any time soon.

Not really in agreement with this point, just thought I would add that. I suppose Deja Entendu has a far different sound to Your Favourite Weapon but indie? Nah.

Meh, I thought it was pretty good, but then again, I like Brand New.

Their stuff does all sound the same though.
