HI all. I like a girl, so i got her number off a mate and texted her...twice. No reply. I have since learnt that the girl does not have a top up on her phone so its normal she doesnt text back. She ignored me in school but seems to take a glance sometimes. Does she like me? I need some positive thoughts, thanks alot, my fellow, loyal people.

I don't know what goes through your mind when you construct sentences, but all I can picture is the Barney theme tune.

Ah yes, I'm the idiot. Sorry, it slipped my mind for a second.

Carry on boss... I'm sure you have your SATs or something to revise for.

Yeh when people aren't very experienced with the opposite sex, and they find someone they like, they start almost thinking they know the person, but do little to make contact with them. I don't think Dogg's gonna do that whole thing, but it can go that way, then you look mega creepy because you've probably spent so much time obsessing and thinking about her that you forget that you haven't actually spoken to her, so its a lil weird for the lass when you start to make gestures. Just talk to her a bit before you get ahead of yourself ok?

But you'll be fine. Whatever happens it's a learning curve.

So you don't actually know this girl, do you? You know who she is, how she looks, and that you'd like to do stuff with/to her but you don't know her, do you?

You remind me of a guy I went to college with. He was obsessed with this girl in my class. Everyone else would just talk to her and got on well as she was a nice person. But this guy said maybe five words to her in the whole two years. One day out of the blue, he bought her a £50 FCUK voucher.

Oh how we laughed.

He didn't even give it to her himself, he gave it to her mate to pass it across the table to her. He didn't know her, they were nothing alike, she was just pretty fit. She was scared off (not like he ever had a chance anyway) and couldn't bring herself to spend the voucher.

What stuff are you into? What do you do for fun? By the sounds of it, you two live completely different lifes. Sure, opposits can attract, but you need some common ground.

Just get to know her as a friend then develop it further if you realise you do actually feel something for her.
