Do not be discouraged by this, she probably said no because she didnt believe your cousin that you like her, or because she was embarrased. The only way you can be sure that she wont go out with you is if you ask her yourself and she says no.
Go ahead and PHONE HER, not text. Ask her out, or just tell her how you feel. The way you are describing her reactions to you, it seems very likely she will say yes to you.

you have no idea whether you'd actually even get on or if you have anything in common. Physical attraction isn't a great basis for a friendship, especially since it's one-sided and she probably couldn't care less whether you live or die.
