I was watching some sort of "When Cars Crash at High Speed!" thing on Channel 5 last night, and when it ended, I was shocked to discover it was made by "Nash Entertainment"

I was just wondering what your next projects are going to be, and I look forward to watching them fill up Channel 5's schedule for the rest of eternity.

I was studying the Peasant's Revolt of 1381 and a landowner in Sussex was called J.Nash

I don't like the internet world merging with reality like that.

I saw a reality programme in which a man's bungee cord was way too long. He didn't just scrape the rocks below, he slammed into them with his back. It was essentially a free fall onto rocks, with the exception that he was pulled back up and allowed to drop once again. After that he just lay there for a while, looking seriously hurt as you'd expect, bobbing up and down. Then he looked up at the camera and gave a thumbs up. He was completely fine. I have no idea how.

John Burnell said one of the best quotes I ever heard not long ago, I'll try to remember it. He was talking about a helicopter unit trying to find a stolen car in the inner city.

"It's like trying to find a needle in a skyscraper haystack"
