"My arm"

For the last few days my arm's been hurting a bit and I've noticed it's become a bit bruised just above my elbow. Last night I found a small bump under the skin that lays in between two veins.

Has anyone had anything like this before?

I'm really not sure what's happened to it so am going to the doctor tomorrow.

Well, I'm fine. It's something that I can't pronounce, spell, or even remember the name of, but it means an enlarged skin growth. The doctor said it's fine and he won't need to remove it. Glad he didn't as I just read this (on this site [URL]http://www.merck.com/pubs/mmanual_ha/sidebars/sb35_1.html[/URL] ):

Noncancerous skin growths can be removed if they are unattractive or they rub against clothing and become irritated. Usually, they can be removed in a doctor's office with a scalpel, scissors, liquid nitrogen, or a laser. Sometimes a local anesthetic is used.

I wouldn't have liked that.

The doctor will probably just massage it and give you a wollie-pop.

Well mines only small, but hopefully it's just the result of a whack. I must have hit it on the weekend.
