I just wanted to know where in Asia the PSP has been released.I know that it has been released in Japan and the surrounding area but I would appreciate it if anybody could tell me if it has been released in Dubai,India or the surrounding area.I think it might be a bit too expensive to import and I don't want to wait 'till September and since I'm heading out there in summer I would like to know if the PSP ahs been released in those parts.

Step 1. Get there.

Step 2. Look in a shop.

I could do that but if I know that it is not out there yet I'll just import one instead before I go so that I can take it with me.

Think its just Japan, as Korea is getting it in a few days.

Just import a US/CAN one, that way you'll get an 'upgraded' model and also English manuals that don't have daft pictures that look like their trying to say "Do Not Insert Baby Into Plug Socket".

But if you get a JAP PSP you can watch PSP music and movies, that means:

JAP PSP > US PSP

But US UMD movies (those that will matter) will be released before their Jap/UK counterparts, thus US > Jap&UK.

I won't even mention the price difference...

Where is the best place to import from and how much would a value pack and two games cost inc tax?

Including Del your looking at £240 from VideoGamesPlus, good site with lots of links to import sites is http://www.ballofodd.co.uk/psp/buy.htm. UK sites are still selling the Jap console with 1 game you are looking at £250. Benefits with UK places is they usually offer a 1 year warranty and its easier to return due to it being in the UK rather than the US or Canada, but they charge you more for it.

Cheers, the places that look good and that I think I can get the PSP at a good price are Lik-Sang and Video Games Plus so I'll check them out.
