What would you say's the biggest change in gaming over the past 5 years?

I'd say it was the idea of 'stealth' which has permeated (sp?) a lot of gaming genres over that time period.

How's it 'common' yet also 'unique'?

How gaming tastes have changed alot over the last 5 years, I am at uni and gaming seems that common that alot of people don't "do" gaming because its so unique, you get me?
