Hmmm, when I heard the frontman from Busted had made a 'proper' rock band called Fightstar, I sighed.

Yet I heard them on TV yesterday, and as long as I didn't look at the screen and see his monkey spade-magnet, it didn't sound too bad.

Not enough to sell me their album though.

That is all, I guess.

Yeah I've only heard one song, and about 30 seconds of it to be fair.

They're not god awful, just tolerable.

I don't ever remember saying I liked them though.

I'm going to see them live in a week (not FOR them, but y'know, they'll be there), and so far i've only heard one song, so I'll hold judgement till I hear more live.

Going from mindlessly happy top-of-the-range teenypoprock to bottom-end whiney clichéd tedious teenmoperock isn't a very clever move.

They might not be 'that bad', but it's a crime against decent bands to say that.

Music isn't a pleasant place, survival of the fittest. Fightstar suck.

Seriously, they are really, really bad generic nu-metal ballcrap, with a bit of emo angst thrown in for good measure.

Saw them in Oxford about two months ago with a few other bands and they were enjoyable enough. Wouldn't buy their CD but I don't hate what they're doing.

He was a member of Busted, which makes any future musical ventures completely void of credibility.

Don't fund them.

Yeah true. Maybe they'll get better over the years... I doubt it... but maybe.

They pretty much suck balls, though. Really.
