Is anyone else annoyed with the Liverpool squad? About 5 years ago it was perfect and i didn't think it could get much better. Now the squad is still managing to do ok in the league, but its just not the side i used to know and love.

You're in the semi finals of the champions league...can't be that bad.
Lost to Crystal Palace though.
Liverpool started to change alot when Owen left, even though im not a Liverpool supporter i'd like to see Owen go back to them.
This year was transitional.
Next year, we win the League.

lol Thats exactly what i've been sayin for the last 10 years! To be honest I think next year we will be close and will really challange as Rafa will understand the English game more and will know of players which will be able to play well in the Premiership. There will also be a lot of Houlliers expensive excrement cleared out and a few new quality faces brought in. The Gerrard saga will also hopefully be done and dusted and won't be a distraction for the team anymore. I also think its pretty much impossible to have an injury ravaged season ever again like the one this season.

lol Thats exactly what i've been sayin for the last 10 years! To be honest I think next year we will be close and will really challange as Rafa will understand the English game more and will know of players which will be able to play well in the Premiership. There will also be a lot of Houlliers expensive excrement cleared out and a few new quality faces brought in. The Gerrard saga will also hopefully be done and dusted and won't be a distraction for the team anymore.
