Is anyone else annoyed with the Liverpool squad? About 5 years ago it was perfect and i didn't think it could get much better. Now the squad is still managing to do ok in the league, but its just not the side i used to know and love.

Benitez has a really good attacking sqaud, but the defence is terrible. We could do with some new defenders when Gerrard leaves the club.

Of course! I recognise it as the only league win of the club in my lifetime but I didn't really do much celebrating at the time. I hardly knew my name when I was 2 nevermind who Liverpool were.

lol Thats exactly what i've been sayin for the last 10 years! To be honest I think next year we will be close and will really challange as Rafa will understand the English game more and will know of players which will be able to play well in the Premiership. There will also be a lot of Houlliers expensive excrement cleared out and a few new quality faces brought in. The Gerrard saga will also hopefully be done and dusted and won't be a distraction for the team anymore. I also think its pretty much impossible to have an injury ravaged season ever again like the one this season.

To be honest I think next year we will be close and will really challange as Rafa will understand the English game more and will know of players which will be able to play well in the Premiership.
