I'm selling a phone on eBay which I listed yesterday and I got this email:

"Q: Dear valued seller, this is Hill Electronics Uk Ltd.We were so amazed when we saw your nicely displayed items,so we decided to purchase one of this as a sample to our client. We am willing to offer £150 and our method of payment is by money order via Western Union as the cash safely gets to you as home delivery in about 5days time.We will like to ship to our client as soon as you get an email confirmation that the payment is approved by Western Union(using my fedEx courier service Account).Kindly send your contact information for immediate payment. Thanks for your understanding. "

Now £150 for the phone is a lot more than I was expecting, however the downside is the person offering to pay me has zero feedback.

I've never used Western Union money transfer before, but it seems legit, however I don't want to have to give some random person my bank details, if that is what is required.

Some help, please?

Okay maybe they are conning you then, if that's their website?

Send them a foul and abusive e-mail telling them where they can stick ther 150 pounds.

I don't know. Scope out the Western Union website for details and maybe check to see if the company offering to buy your phone have a site too, and if it looks genuine.

What do I need to give them to use Western Union, though?

I think it looks legit, you should go for it. Make sure they've paid you before you send anything and your fine.

I wouldn't trust it whatsoever.

Especially when their grammar is so rubbish: -

"We am willing to offer £150"

Just ask them to use paypal. As longas it seems lgit and they're willing to oblige you could make a packet.
