Nah. I've seen neither. You're still wrong.

Warnings / Promises is a bit more mellow than other stuff, I think people wanted more of the same. Not me, 'tis fantastic.

Blame it on the Obvious Ways is also my pick of the album.
Love the intro ... and, although the lyrics are a bit dodgy, it doesn't matter with a voice like that.

WP seemed to get good reviews in the media but my mates are all saying that it's not as good as previous albums and the people on the Idlewild message board don't seem to like it. There are loads of standout tracks on it but my current favorite is Blame It On The Obvious Ways.

and as I type I Understand It is on Radio 1

Warnings/Promises has got 4 stars wherever I've looked. People are saying it's more of a mature album than tRP, but with less stand-out tracks. I disagree. Obviously, it doesn't have an 'American English' type anthem (which,by the way indie-fanboys, is superior as an indie anthem to Run, Golden Touch, Take Me Out and all the other big tunes), but it's got some simply superb tracks. I can't choose my favourite out of Welcome Home, Not Just Sometimes But Always, El Capitan & As If I Hadn't Slept.

Awesome album. People running about screaming 'Kaiser Chiefs!' at the moment would be advised to listen to it and not what Radio 1 tells them to.

I'm off to see them there aswell. People seem to be slating Warnings/Promises but I think it's an excellent album.

Razorlight have released loads of versions of their album. One with a DVD, one with a B sides CD, one with Somewhere Else and the normal version which I have.

I personally very much like Razorlight, and they are far from dull. The album is a little boring in places but songs like Up All Night, In The City and Leave Me Alone are very uptempo and infectious.

I like 'em. Plenty of decent stuff on the album for me.
They're playing at my sister's graduation or a party around that time or something to do with her uni anyway.
