Today at work I rang my aunt.

Ok that don't sound too special but..

I work in telesales and the calls we make just come to us..we press call and the name appears on out monitor.

My mate said it's like winning the lottery. Not only was she on our database(only a few people from the South are on our datebase), but the call came to me, on a day I was working, out of 50 people.

It was kinda like...

Smith isn't actually her surname, but the surname on my mum's side of the family is quite rare. Infact I've never heard anyone else called it, so when the name was on my screen I was kinda like..''eh?''

''Hello, Can I speak to Mrs Smith please?''
''This is her''
''Errr....My name is Lori and I'm calling on bahalf of American Life''
''Who are you?''
''Erm...is that you Karen?''
''Who's this!!!??''
''It's Lori''
''HAHAHAHa, you joker, I thought it was one of them Telesales''
''Well..actually it is''

I'm gonna call her back and get her to help me make commission.

I hate those telesale things. Somehow our number got onto a database and we get them all the time. If you ever got somewhere asking for someone and they reply "No, balls off", it's me.

If someone asks you to take them off the database, can you?

Randpomest coincidence that happened to me was when a Pixies song came on my iPod today and I thought 'Gah, wish it was here comes your man', pressed fast forward and voila, Here comes your man came on.

Out of 3074 songs, Here comes your man came on, directly after another Pixies song.

Lucky.

It is quite random, but then random things like that happen all the time. It's a small world.

I've met one of my old junior school mates on a ski lift in Italy before!

Oh, and if anyone remembers Rakuga from here, my housemate was going out with his best mate. Funny thing was that I had never met Rakuga and I only found out when he showed me a picture of him and his mate when he came to visit her at my uni.

"I went to your uni the other week, here's a picture of me at your union."
"That girl in the picture, that's my housemates girlfriend."
"Ha, that's my best mate."

Fun fun fun.

Kind of like winning the lottery, yet with no monetary advantage.
